I'm a naturopath and counsellor who specialises in birth trauma, and I've lived it twice. My first birth ended in a fourth degree tear, vacuum delivery, and being told at 21 I'd likely be incontinent for life. My second was what was suppose to be a scheduled caesarean turned emergency caesarean.
